About the villa

26 km from Tallinn, romantic Laitse Graniitvilla is a special venue for celebrating special occasions. The ground floor of this historical granite building features two large halls for social events. For those who would like to spend the night, there are suites upstairs displaying the works of a number of artists. Graniitvilla is surrounded by a large sculpture garden with numerous monumental sculptures by the landlord himself, Tauno Kangro.

The Charm of Graniitvilla

Laitse is a quiet place. It’s removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to Tallinn to allow your friends to get here in just half an hour. In summer, the grass is covered in dewdrops and the air is filled with birdsong. Time stops as you sip your morning coffee or simply lounge in a hammock. Autumns are colourful here and in winter snow covers the land as far as the eye can see, just like at your grandmother’s country home when you were a child. Spring welcomes you with greenery and freshness. The fields and roads are frequented by deer and foxes, and sometimes you can even spot elk.

For the landlord, it was love at first sight with this ancient building. This large granite beauty will make anyone’s heart skip a beat. Today, it stands more beautiful than ever before, bustling with life.

Because of the beauty of country life and the building itself, the landlord chose this place to create something special. His aim was to create a place where everyone could recharge their batteries, rest and simply enjoy life.
